In totale, più di 80.000 golfisti di tutti i livelli sono stati coinvolti nel processo di test e validazione di Pro V1 e Pro V1x 2017, provando numerose fasi intermedie di prototipi durante un processo di sviluppo di due anni. Ciò ha incluso sei diversi test sui prototipi in doppio cieco nell’estate e nell’autunno del 2015, che sono stati determinanti per determinare le specifiche di progettazione per i modelli del 2017.

LA TECNOLOGIA PRO V1 DEL TITOLISTA:

La nuova Pro V1 è una pallina da golf multicomponente in 3 pezzi progettata con precisione con un nucleo da 2,0 ZG, uno strato di copertura in ionomero e un guscio morbido in uretano/elastomero con un nuovo design con fossetta tetraedrica sferica 352.

TECNOLOGIA PRO V1X:

La nuova Pro V1x è una pallina da golf multicomponente in 4 pezzi progettata con precisione con un doppio nucleo ZG, uno strato di copertura in ionomero e un guscio morbido in uretano/elastomero con un nuovo design con fossetta tetraedrica sferica 328.

AERODINAMICA MIGLIORATA

I miglioramenti aerodinamici di Pro V1 e Pro V1x si traducono in un volo della palla più coerente:

• Nuovi design delle fossette Per entrambi i modelli Titleist, sia la pallina da golf Pro V1 che quella Pro V1x, i modelli di fossette migliorati danno come risultato superfici ancora più uniformi.

• I gusci in uretano/elastomero sono realizzati con motivi fossetti nelle cavità dello stampo mediante stampaggio a iniezione. Per la fusione continua di Pro V1 e Pro V1x sono necessarie decine di migliaia di cavità dello stampo. Per ottenere una qualità del prodotto costante, ciascuna cavità dello stampo deve produrre lo stesso risultato. Il nostro team di produzione ha sempre realizzato internamente tutti gli stampi e gli strumenti necessari per garantire il massimo livello di precisione. Un investimento in nuove attrezzature per la produzione dei creatori principali ci ha permesso di produrre con tolleranze ancora più strette.

Queste innovazioni nel design e nella produzione delle fossette conferiscono ai nuovi Pro V1 e Pro V1x il miglior volo della palla aerodinamicamente coerente di sempre.

“Quando un giocatore di golf colpisce un certo numero di palline, queste volano attraverso una finestra immaginaria nell'aria. Con i nuovi Pro V1 e Pro V1x, questa finestra immaginaria diventa più piccola man mano che il volo della palla è più coerente”, ha affermato Morgan.
